Overview

MotoTiming provides race-weekend timing, schedule, grid, result, standing, and alert features. We collect the minimum data needed to operate the app, deliver notifications, understand product usage, and respond to support requests.

Data We Process

The app may send your device platform, timezone, app version, notification preferences, Expo push token, and optional companion web access code to the MotoTiming backend. The sales website may collect launch signup email addresses, analytics events, referrer information, and campaign parameters.

Notifications

Push notifications are optional. You can enable, disable, and adjust alert categories in the app settings. We use notification tokens only to send MotoTiming session, race, result, and alert updates.

Analytics

MotoTiming uses OpenPanel analytics to understand page views and product interactions. Analytics help us improve the app and sales website. We do not sell personal information.

To ask a privacy question or request deletion of your notification token, launch signup, or support details, email info@backends.co.uk.

Independence

MotoTiming is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Dorna Sports, MotoGP, the FIM, or any official championship timing provider.
